I dug it out today. It seems like I got this a VERY long time ago.

I really hope we don't get trounced again like we did that year.

We got trounced that year because we were a 1 Trick Pony, the Wildcat. The Ravens figured it out and exposed the hell out of us. This is a much different team. Maybe we don't get past the first round but I believe they'll make a statement one way or another.

They put us out the past two times didn't they?

Sure do. I still have mine. I'll never forget the excitement in the stadium that afternoon, it was unlike anything I'd witnessed in my lifetime. Every seat was full, towels were waving in the air, the building was rocking, and within a couple of hours, it was silent and people were leaving before it was over. It was one of the greatest and most depressing days I've experienced as a Dolphins fan.

The most depressing loss was the 1992 AFC Championship game at home against the Bills. Both teams were superb, finishing on top of the East. I think it was that year of Bills comeback against Houston Oilers. We beat the Charger up and then...the big let down.

I remember the sea of Purple in the stadium. It was scary how well Ravens fans travelled to that game.

That's just not true. Pennington helped lead the offense to the fewest turnovers in franchise history (if I'm not mistaken) and the defense was also solid.

Was this the Miami Dolphin version of the Terrible Towel? The Terrible Tony Tribal Tea Towel? Maybe Tony Sparano still has one and gets it out to dry himself after a big fist pumping field goal.
Andrew Franks just got a pat on the back from Coach Gase the other day with his 55 yarder to tie the scores. One can only imagine the pleasure that Tony Sparano derived from watching the NFL highlights.

The 1985 AFC Championship game(vs Patriots) and the 1974 Divisional playoff game(vs Oakland) hurt me worse.

I honestly expected Buffalo to beat us in 1993....they were on a really good roll and a loaded team.

We fumbled away the 85 championship game in a game we should have won. The 74' game ended our dynasty in a fluke play("sea of hands")......

I wouldn't say the defense was solid....middle of the pack in yardage alliwed...hardly a playoff caliber defense.
