think it was late in the 4th a jets player gave Sampson a pretty good shove after the wistle went.James flew over and got involved witj that jets player.James has been such a great player for us and he seems not affraid to stick up for his team.love this kid.should be in the hunt for offensive rookie of the year
 
Ya I forgot about that. Even in the replay, you could hear the audio of James screamin at the dude.. Good stuff!
 
Your post was on point til that last sentence - not sure if you've been living in a bubble, but with the production this rookie class has received from the WR position alone there is no way in hell James is even in any kind of discussion for OROY.

I agree with everything else though!

I think there could be a good debate over which contribution really is greater not to take away from either player. It's definitely harder to measure James's contribution but remember the line last year at RT? How much of our offensive progress is because the line is better for him? I haven't made up my mind yet but I don't think it's that clear that Landry is more important than James to the team. Could be a good debate.

Yeah, I agree with you... but I wasn't talking about Landry... I was talking about guys like Evans and Beckham... what they've been doing has been nuts!
 
James should get accolades over Bitonio and Martin since those guys are guards
 
I saw James get in the face of the Jets player on that play. Good to see.......I think the emotion is a good thing for this offense.

James has been an outstanding addition to this team. He is doing a very credible job in the move to LT.
 
I couldn't be more pleased by this first round pick - or with Hickey's judgement so far. Imagine if we were saddled by a bean-counter like Itzdick (or Tannenbaum for that matter)
