Throw up the deuce to Brady reminding him he picked him off twice. Hahahhaha check the video. Right before the timeout. Brady smiles. *****. **** the pats.

I did see that. I really like the moxie of this rookie. Becoming one of my favorite players. Don't throw the jump ball against VD in the endzone.

I am telling you what i am getting a Vontae jersey as soon as possible even if I have to get it personalized.

Its too bad that he was declared a bust in the preseason because he is showing that he really could have been something as a Dolphin. But since he's a bust, I guess it will be time to just move on in the offseason and cut him loose.

I think he's referring to the fact that everyone thought he was going to be a bust in the preseason before he even played one official game in the NFL yet. I think he's done a nice job "silencing" his critics.

I think the most ironic part of the vontae situation is that everyone thought Smith was going to be our play making shut down corner and it turns out to be just the opposite. (Smith will be great, just needs some more work and reps) That Aiken catch was BS, wouldnt happen 99/100, and he grabbed Smiths arm.

both CBs have their pro's and con's. Smith has been attacked (quite successfully) by TO, Moss and other #1 WRs, Pasqualani refuses to switch Davis/Smith from side/to/side as he believes it will stun their growth. But make no mistake about it, if you look at big plays given up...it's been Smith, hands-down, all season, either him...or Wilson..... Davis will and has learned and will continue to improve though... so hopefully a bright future. Smith... he's doing better first go-round.... question is if he can continue to improve to become a lock-down corner. I'd love to have the days of a new regime of Madison and Surtain again.... (minus Sam's consistent personal fouls of course...and Davis isn't afraid of hitting someone like Sam was either)....

They say they wont switch their sides but if you look Vontae was switching all day to cover moss and Smith was on the other side when Aiken made that play.

:chuckle: yea i saw that...Vontae is gonna be good. I think in his 3rd year he will be a top corner in the league.

so whats gonna happen with Will Allen? when does his contract expire and what do you think the team does with him?

I mean Im pretty sure its gonna stay Davis & Smith i dont see Will Allen makin his way back into the starting lineup next year or anything.

This game I actually saw something different, lol... they lined up Smith AND Davis on the same side, depending on where the receivers were on certain occasions. If they're our top 2 corners, I guess today was a good day to take off the training wheels for a bit. They did a good job overall.

I think we are going to need a veteran 3rd corner just to reinforce these guys, but what is really going to help them is having a safety that can actually be in position to do his job and provide the support over the top that is supposed to be there. And other components of our pass coverage have simply not been that good.

Sometimes a mistake by Smith or Davis turns into a 60 yard play because the help that is supposed to be there simply isn't there. What worries me is that Wilson was brought in at safety, and while it obvious that he isn't the answer it doesn't give me confidence that the FO can find the answer either.

how long is Wilson signed for? Wilson is garbage
