Awhile back before the season began I made a thread about ways to watch (legal) and ultimately decided on paying my buddy to upgrade to Sunday ticket max or whatever it's called. What a blunder it's been! Last year it worked fine but this year no games will play at all. I just get the loading circle yet I can play highlights just fine.

Anyone have any experience? Advice? Anyone tech savy??? I emailed directv 3 days ago, no reply.

Sorry to hear that. I watch games on my TV with DTV, but because I am a paranoid geek I get the big package. I have it in case of they blackout games or there are power/TV issues. When I have called up games, I have had it work for me.

Threaten to leave them and they will strike a deal.

Their streaming sucked last year too... It didn't really start working until Week 4 or so. Their streaming service is trash, a big reason why the new NFL/DTV deal is a huge blunder.

My streaming has worked on my laptops, tablets, etc. but hasn't worked on my mobile all season. My last year with DTV though. Just not worth it since I don't watch shows and use it strictly for sports. I'll be going the "other route" (wink wink) next year.

Interesting that some of you guys have it working on the laptop... (Mine works on iPhone still) I updated my flash player even, I'm just not sure what to do next to try to get it going.

Squinn, that's what I did most of last year, worked well then, didn't seem like connecting it caused any connection issues. Oh well atleast I'll get to watch this week on regular tv

Mine works fine (I use Chrome).

Make sure flash is up to date. Try a different browser. Make sure your browser is up to date. Reinstall your browser as a last resort.

Its a local issue on your PC. Directv will just have you do basic things like this as it is "not a problem on their end". Also, if you haven't already, try googling your issue. I'm sure someone has experienced the same issue and has posted it on a forum.

I've been using the Direct TV streaming for 3 years. Last year there were big issues to start the season due to the overload of free madden subscribers. This year has been great.

Why is it a huge blunder? Does this include options for streaming only?

This is what I've been thinking truthfully, just thought maybe others had issues. It seems strange because last year it worked perfectly fine. But I know dtv would definitely just tell me it's my issue not theirs, hard to say otherwise really..

But yes, flash is up to date. I'll try to reinstall Firefox (is there any way to save my bookmarks?) soon too and maybe install Chrome. Any other thoughts??

I'll try to use my girlfriends laptop too... I tried hers at my house iirc week 1 but it didn't work either (could be trippin tho) normally we go to her moms house to use her better internet. Only had my laptop last time.

Question about connection though; when I go to a network, status, and see connection speed mine is like 115 mbs and her mom had 54. Is a lower number better? Because I know for a fact her internet is superior. Netflix will occasionally need to buffer here or YouTube videos take a bit to load fully, can only view "certain" streams pretty choppy. Also, those streams are still able to be played..

Higher is better, but that just tells you the speed of the internet traffic, not the consistency. Yours could be much faster, but then randomly slow down for a few minutes at a time, which would cause buffering.

Also, 54 megs is the cap on Wireless G, so if you are still using a laptop that uses that standard, or if her router only puts that out, hers could be much faster than 54, and you just aren't seeing the extra speed. Not that it should matter for streaming one football game though.

they must have changed something from last year.. i too watch the games on my tv thru direct tv but once in a while i do watch it on my laptop if i am out of town. when i checked to see if i could stream it this year, it wouldn't work on MY laptop (which is an older laptop).. i tried my daughters laptop and it worked fine.. so maybe they made some changes and my laptop isn't up to code any more.

i use mine through my ps4. haven't had one issue. works great.

Mine works great.

Mine works great too, and I've had games streaming on an ipad. There is a delay of a few seconds due to buffering but its as good as live and the picture quality is good enough.
