There would be no bolder statement Campbell could make about toughness and determination to shake things up for this franchise than to dispense with this silliness about how much cooler the white jerseys are. We and the Cowboys are the only teams left that do it... it is time to change that culture.

BTW Shula had them in aqua for his first 2 seasons in Miami. That really isn't "change", that's more like Old School.

Back when we won. A lot.

I mean, it's not like we're out there wearing a dark color. Would this light aqua really attract that much more heat? It gets old seeing all white 90% of the season

I'm all for giving ourselves every advantage. White jerseys are part of that. We can switch to darker later in the year. But now when the sun's out and summer heat is still kicking it's our time to use that advantage over opponents. One of my favorite game memories was going to see the Falcons come to town early in the year in their all black jerseys and be near death by halftime.

That Texan Blue this weekend will be an advantage to us. Unless it is windy like it has been all week. Then the weather wouldn't matter

I love the all whites...best uni in the game as far as I'm concerned.

It's not just about keeping us cool, it's about roasting teams that wear dark colors. It actually does work. Ask the Raiders that played us in the early 2000s when Fiedler ran it in to win the game.

It's not so much the Aqua jerseys are that much cooler, but the visiting team's home colors are probably darker. In September and early October it does help if the sun is beating down. As the season gets closer to the half way mark I am not sure it matters as much.

With that being said I like the all white uni's much better.

this seems like overthinking it

The all white Storm Trooper look is easily my favorite...so I would prefer them to keep that look going

to me the phrases "bold move" and "team shake up" has nothing to do about what color the team wears on game day

Those who've lived in Florida can tell you the color thing makes a significant difference. While I'd love to find a way to see the aqua more, I'd hate to give up an obvious advantage in the process.
