Thru the years and recently I've been disappointed how some are treated right here on this site. I have no problem in some teasing, razzing how ever you want to say it if its done in good nature (even that u got to be careful). But some here attack and show little regard for others. I guess its hard to define bullying at times, and I know before I post that some will not just disagree but they feel compelled to attack you as a person inferring your an idiot, just becuz they have a differing view...and I'm tempted everytime to retaliate and sometimes do. But I accept it to be able to post. But others are young people etc and its a shame they get treated so. I think it will be interesting to see the reaction of the bullies 'here' to this whole incognito thing to see if their capable of looking in the mirror-i know i'm ashamed of myself at times and can use this situation as a reminder to be more careful.
 
Definitely. You can tell by how many people kept and still keep bagging on Martin when he is the victim. Calling another person "*ussy", which many people here did, plus saying that Martin shouldn't return to the team because he is soft, and that they were picking on him because he is gay. What if he was gay? There a lot of bullies and ignoramuses on this board.

What Incognito did was borderline a hate crime in our society, and if a regular joe off the street would have said that to someone, things like "I'll kill you", "kill your family", "half-******" he could have been charged with verbal assault.

These insults are just as bad as the "Riley Cooper Incident" earlier this offseason. IMHO they might be worse.

I don't think so. If so I don't know how the Mods would have missed it. People are allowed to report posters/posts so if you see something, step up and make a comment to one of us.
 
yea they're the vip members, and they use the thread star rating system to intimidate
 
if you see something said that you think goes against the TOS, (and it's not in the depths or the anything goes thread) report it.

I think at times a lot of us get short with each other on a topic (I readily admit I do) but it's nothing more than disagreeing on a subject and I hope those I debate take it that way. I certainly don't see there being a problem.

just playing around but really any non-positive dolphins thread that questions a player/coach gets low rated in an attempt to stifle the minds of Dolphin fans that dont just drink the kool-aid
 
There are definitely bullies, try going to the political section and having a libertarian view

If there is a god, which there isn't, all their children will get beaten up by Martin's kids in school one day. Poetic Justice.

He *IS* a *****, though. He bullies, but when it happens to him he goes and cries about it.
