Are we the top Receiving group in the league?

i'm exactly the opposite.

i think since the beginning of 2019 he has been virtually unguardable when he's healthy, and incredibly underrated by the fanbase and the NFL in general.

i felt like you did during his first few seasons.

i see a different guy now.
He’s solid, no doubt. But he’s incapable of getting any separation, ever, nor does he ever provide any significant YAC. He’s fantastic at high-pointing the ball but that’s it. One Trick Pony. He made “Gilly” look amateur that one game but they were mostly jump ball catches.

I think he can make pretty much all of them look silly.

I'm looking forward to the Parker we will see when Tua really gets it going out there.

I’ll support anyone in a Fins uniform but I’m just not a believer in Parker. As long as he’s our WR1-3, we don’t have the best wr group in the league. He’s given us one solid year. That’s it.

I hope he proves me wrong.
If Parker is ur #3 receiver you are doing pretty damn good.

How great would it be to have two 4.3 guys as our 1 and 2 after being last in separation last year.

But this discussion is premature. Anointing this group as great, essentially means anointing Waddle as great.

Him and Phillips have enough potential to make both their units really damn good. But for a few more months, it's just potential.

I love the enthusiasm I really do...but its wayyyy to early ...I mean we haven't even had a mini camp yet....let's hold off some before we start claiming we have the top anything...

It depends on how fast waddle becomes elite. If hes tyreek hill right now, its definitely a top 5 wr room. In buffalo we like like knoxs upside but God gesicke is imo an elite talent. If tua does take a step forward, gesicke will be an all pro. I really wish we had him

I still have nightmares of Klein trying to cover gesicke week 2 last year. If Allen didn't go nuts we would've easily lost tht game. Fitz was on fire

KC may be. Certainly not TB and not Dal. Jones is a shadow of his former self. Not ATL.

Dallas runs circles around this current trio, 2 of the three who have yet to play a single snap here.

Cooper is a legit #1. He can run routes around corners and then run past them after the catch.
Gallup is one of the better downfield receivers in the league, his 2019 YPC(full year with Dak) was higher than Fullers 2020 season.
CDL posted 74-935-5 his rookie year with the majority of his season being with Dalton, Gilbert, DiNucci being his QB. He did great in the short/intermidate middle section of the field.

Evans and Godwin are 2-#1 receivers. Scotty Miller and Brown in the slot are nothing to look over.

Atlanta Jones is older, but Ridley is becoming a legit #1 and Gage is a talented slot. Add Pitts to this mix, and yea they still a formidable receiver quatro for Ryan

I’ll take Arizona, ATL, Seattle, Dallas, KC over our WR/TE room any day.

Hopkins alone makes ARI better than ours. DK alone makes theirs better than ours and we’ll you can figure the rest out.

Our WR room is full of speed and injury designations. Sure they look good on Madden but that’s about it. Enjoy seeing this group on the field in Week 2 because that’s the last time they’ll all be healthy together.

Pitts has no play a down. Gesicke is established. On paper yes, Pitts is more talented than Mike G. Then on paper, Fuller, Parker and Waddle is better thsn Jones, Ridley and Hurst. Jones is over the hill, he slows down more than a step.

Lol Pitts hasn't played a down but you're counting Waddle. Give me a break.

Counting injurie history its possible we dont have a top 20 receiving core for most of the season.

Asking this question due to the acquisition of a guy who's never played a down in the pros?

:bobdole:

We have an WR room that ALL have injury history. Let’s just keep them playing on the field first.

Best in the league. I don't know, I would say unlikely. But if Miami can keep 3 or the top 4 healthy on game day this wr corp will be more than good enough to give team problems and get the job done. I would say if the wrs stay healthy that unit would be the least of the team's concerns on offense in 2021.

Are we the top Receiving group in the league?

We have speedster Fuller at one side, jump ball specialist Parker at the other. Pure burner Waddle rotating between slot and boundary, Gesicke going down the middle. Occasionally surprise the defense with two TE set with sending both TE to route.

I can’t name another team has WR group that can match us? Not in terms of talent, not in terms of capable receivers cover all the short, medium, and deep areas of the field.

I can’t think of any? Not even KC…
Wow. No. I mean, I'm a fan of the team too but we have a long way to go before we are touting ourselves as the best anything outside of secondary and kicker.

This receiving corp is way improved with Fuller, Waddle and I hope Long as a complement to MG but we still have a ways to go. More than anything it comes down to Tua. Hopefully, he lights it up this year.
