I'm a Vols fan and i promise you guy will fall in love with him. he is in every play. would have been top ten pick if not for injury in oct.

I was hoping for a trade down, but i guess it didnt present itself.. What do you guys think we do in the 3rd now?

allen adds a lot to the safety position. speed, can cover and tackle. he will be good and hopefully we get a steal in the 3rd!

I wanted Manny Lawson but I will have to trust Nick.

Boring pick - nothing sexy here. How about Cromartie or Williams if we wanted secondary help?

Or WR with Johnson or Holmes? Barring any of these options, trade down would have been preferable.

I don't see it being a big time talent. I feel Manny Lawson would have been a better pick. We have to get a OLB to some how replace talent with talent, and we don't have another pick until the 3rd. We have to get a starter and I don't see one left.

Last time I checked, the Dolphins needed another quality safety and now have one. I think he and Hill will be the starting safeties next year. They still need a linebacker and wide receiver.

right on. Great player. People are knocking him because they have never seen him in action. He's a special player and should be an extraordinary DB for us. He wont make the picks alot of people look for, but he is a physical controlling DB.

**** no. In fact, I downright hate it. There's going to have to be a time when Coach Saban is going to have to stop leaning on his SEC past and take a gamble on talent he doesn't know.

Personally, I prefered Chad Jackson or Santonio Holmes

I understand the pick.........I do..........this is one versatile pickup for our secondary, not to mention the guy is a hitter......... BUT it was reach for us to nab him at 16. I mean c'mon, he suffered a majory hip injury in college. I'd almost prefer to get a player with no majory injury history. I can't believe that there was nobody wanting to trade up, perhaps allowing us to gain a later pick in the draft and still get Allen.

That Donte Whitner selection by the Bills really shuffled this draft........not to mention the Eagles going with Bunkley.
