This has to be one big joke. 4 Months ago everyone was on here so excited about daunte being our QB and leading us, and now because he has 2 bad games(on a new team, coming off serious knee surgery) you guys are ready to throw him under the bus and start Joey Harrington? JOEY HARRINGTON? the same guy that has more careet INTs then TDs? a guy with a 54.7 completion %. A guy who has led one of the worst teams in teh past 4 years and has had 3 first round WRs.

Guys the season is not won and lost in the first 2 weeks of the season, there is plenty of time for things to get turned around. Some of this talk is just crazy, Brady Quinn? Are you on drugs? This is pathetic, this is the type of stuff i would expect to see on a jets or bills site, not the dolphins, we are better then that. I bet you $$ a patriots site wouldn't be this delusional after 2 losses(which they could easily have been 0-2)

Not everyone. What you see right now is no surprise to me. I will keep rooting for him, because he's our QB. But Danny's shoes has not been filled. He certaintly hasn't proved that and god knows if he is going to be our franchise QB or not. Something is wrong with him mentally and physically.

Mentally, he can't feel the pressure coming, he can't read a defense and has had open receivers but he isn't catching on and is holding on to the ball way too long. Hell, Wes Welker was open for the 2 point conversion. Even I saw that. Chris Chambers was open on the flag route and he threw the ball way off.

Physically, he doesn't plant his foot on his throws, and he side arm's the ball too much, plus the ball is wobbling. Also, he is limping on the field, and his throws don't have enough juice. He is also rather slow compared to his days in Minnesota.

Wrong. It's won and lost every game. Every game you lose is one less chance to make the playoffs, one less chance to win the division, one less chance to get homefield advantage.
Remember when we lost to the Texans the first game of the season in 2003? Every Pollyana here chanted "it's just one game." Well, no. We didn't make the playoffs that year and you know what kept us out? Just one loss. That loss to the Texans.
In the NFL, when you lose games you should have won, you are throwing away chances to make the playoffs.

He's not doing that bad. We need to get the ball down the field a little more. There's other things we're having problems with, not just the QB.

Agreed. Drew Brees anybody? Could of had him. Daunte looks lost. We lost to the Bills at home, and every game does matter in football. This is not baseball. We lost at home, to a div. opponent, and lost miserably. 8 sacks, a blocked punt, a TERRIBLE throw at the end of the first half by Daunte. What a joke.

Hell, we could have DRAFTED him. But the Fins haven't drafted a QB in the first three rounds since Marino. Now, we're paying the price.

Dont go and say everyone was excited about Daunte. I hated the idea of him playing QB and still do. Dont believe me? Go check the spam folder. Every time i said something bad about Daunte thats where my posts got put. I still cant wait untill Joey gets in there.

It's put up or shut up time for Daunte. If his knee is still bad he should be on the bench.

Wow you guys never fail, I bet i see half of you next week praising daunte sayin you beleived in him all along when he has an excellent week next week. And all the people that wanted brees would be saying the same thing if we had brees and he was doing bad. "o man i wanted daunte all along"

If he has an excellent week next week, all I will be saying is "about damned time." If he EVER plays an excellent game against a team with a good defense, THEN I might give him some props. Not before.

I'm sorry that your hero is sucking but don't try to put words in the mouths of people on this board. If daunte plays well I'll acknowledge it and be happy because my team is winning. I never pretended to know whether he or Brees was a better choice. In hindsight it looks like Brees probably was. Culpepper is a dolphin, I want him to succeed, but if he proves to be inept I want someone in who can win games, or at least manage them.

My hero?? he isn't my hero but i support the decision of Daunte over Brees because he is a Dolphin. Daunte has proved over his career that he is a good QB, im not going to let 2 games change my view of him.

And i wasn't directing my earlier post towards you, just the people that keep saying that daunte sucks blah blah blah

Fair enough, I was hopeful about him as well. So far though the QB of 2004 looks like a distant memory. Honestly right now I'm really happy that Saban picked up Harrington because I think he could be a capable guy. I could be wrong who knows.

I hope harrington doesn't get a chance, Albeit come week 6-7 and Daunte is still doing this bad then yes i say give harrington a chance, But i beleive u have to give Daunte about 5 games be4 u can pull him, hes earned it. But hey that is what i beleive, but then there is people that will want harrington next week. And then when harrington sucks in Week 3 then what? u can't go back to daunte
