Just wondering how many of you guys still think that we need to draft an o-lineman in the 1st round next year? I think the o-line is really getting better.I think Seth(who I wanted to see gone) is playing better this year and the line as a unit is playing good on pass protection and the run lanes are starting to be there for our RB's.I know to some people is early to talk about the draft but the draft gives me hope.I'm thinking QB right now unless we get one in a trade or free agency..On defence it could be corner or a LB that can play the 3-4.I don't think we'll go DT with Manny and Vickerson waiting in the wings.A wr is also posible on day 1.I'm starting to think that some people are not so crazy when they say that CC will never reach his potential.I think he's a good WR but not a great WR but that's just my opinion.

I do not think it warrants the use of our first but I do hope it gets talented help. Our running backs can make a line look good, butask yourself just how good would RnR be with a really good line. Not scrubs coached up but talent, coached up.

Well, I wouldn't mind seeing us get a top LT or a guard like Huchinson but I'm not as worry about the o-line as I was before. Ronnie and Ricky do get yards on their own tho so I can see us getting one on day one or free agency but I think in the 1st round it'll be a QB as long as we don't trade for one or get one in free agency.

We could go a few directions. Depending on where we are selecting will obviously decide where we go. If some1 on defense is there like a Hawk or Jimmy Williams, then I would say go there. But if there is a Jon Scott or Ferguson then we could prolly go there. I would love to see the Dolphins trade up and take a chance on Leinart. I don't think its really taking a chance, because id say he's gonna be a good one.

I agree, but i am not set on McKenny, I still believe we need to move Rex over and get a meat and tatos gaurd to go along with Jeno, that i believe would vastly approve our oline and make the 2 back set (RnR) even more deadly. We would be blessed with two strong sides. And I say we are going to draft oline day 1 (2nd round a would be 1st rounder) or 3rd find and then on day 2 two in the 7th round unless we find a jem in the 5th. Other than that we are a lock on target for drafting a CB, QB, WR, LB and SS.

As of right now we only have
CB Daniels, Mitchell, Poole (Madison possible trade/getting old)
WR Chambers, Booker, Welker KR, Gilmore, Newsome (possible trade for a Santana Moss/steve smith type player, or one with a nasty controllable attitude (c Johnson) possible reggie wayne) (GIBSON in 06, LOL i hope a dimonand in the ruff)
QB Sage, Clemon (FRANCHISE NEEDED, i know its been said before, but this is the year not next year......we have missed out on a lot of good QBs cause of having Marino on our team and everyone thought marino will never stop playing even with a cane.---I wait till everyone declares before mentioning any names
LB & SS (Crowder and Bell dats it---no moore or pope and seau and thomas are getting there) SS no more jones or tillman waste of money (Shulters 1 game wonder jury still out, leave Bell in and live and die with him, he can be good but we dont believe enough)

Dats it for my rap for today

Our 1st round pick should be for the best LT we can get. Even if trading up makes sense.

Why? Offensive Line is quickly becoming less and less of a problem for this team.. If there is a stud QB or a stud CB available at our pick, we MUST take that

Our offensive line has played very well this year, its QB and Secondary that is killing us

We have needed a cornerstone LT since Richmond Webb. Look how he did for us. Franchise LT's are next to impossible to get and are a better % pick than a franchise QB.

In the end, I think Saban will go for the best player out there regarless of position(other than RB).we could use a guy like Williams or a LB like Hawk or a guy like Kiwana(sp?) or a ferguson and of course we could use a guy like Leinart.Hard to beliebe that I'm talking draft already but that's what we live for when our team's not going anywhere this year.Other than RB,FB,TE,G or Center nothing would surprise me.I think we could go QB and anywhere on defence.

I don't care who the left tackle is if the team does not improve the Qb position they will be a sub-par team next year again. If people don't wanna see a rookie Qb sit for a year or two because he is a 1st rd pick, how are they gonna feel if a high pick is used on a LT and he is playing RT in his first couple seasons?

Agree 100% - there's quite a few in the draft next year, we should get one.

In this league if you're not moving forward you are moving backward, IMO. I can guarantee that if we go into the offseason and come out with the same OL they won't play to the same level that we will come to expect based on this year's performance. We're getting away with something right now, IMO. Time and again a cornerstone LT has proven to be a valuable commodity on any offense. We're not special and we should not think we have some get out of jail free card in that time-tested equation. You improve your team the best way you can. If the best player available is a LT...its worth it. It almost always is...to get one of the best ones.

I don't disagree with you.Like I said, QB,WT or LT is very posible on offence. On defence just about any is posible imo.Of course, everything will depend on what we do in free agency.
