Happy.
He will be a huge contributor for us this season. I expect 1-2 big plays per game either made directly by Pat White, or a result of his presence on the field. 1-2 big plays translates to points that we wouldnt score without him. Adding a few points per game to your offense is worth every bit of a 2nd round selection.

Upset, was wanting him on the Panthers.
Very happy. Adds a dynamic playmaker to an offense without many dynamic playmakers. Could be the starting quarterback one day. Classy, intelligent, extremely athletic, has great arm strength and accuracy. It will be fun to watch him this year anchor the Wildcat.

Watch the highlights of the guy on Youtube. He is amazing. He was the one guy I really wanted in this draft. He has the "it" factor that we all talk about but can't really quantify. The folks in ol' Virginny swear that we will love this dude on and off the field. I just watched a clip of him wiping out two linebackers with one block. I mean he crushed these 'backers. You just can't stop smiling when you watch him in action. :)

Great pick. He will immediately contribute to the Wildcat as a WR/RB and still be groomed as a QB down the line. I could see a competition between him and Henne in a couple seasons as to who would be the starter.
White is very athletic, has great pocket awareness, poise, good mechanics, and is a true leader. He will give Henne a run for his money. Of course we all know his knocks: short, scrambler, and played in a spread formation. I do think he will become a great player and it will be very interesting to see how he and Henne fare in their competition.

i'll only be unhappy about it if we draft another qb in the 2nd round next year. startin to be a trend.... of non-starters!!

At first I was scratching my head but now I've probably gone overboard the other way and I'm absolutely giddy over it. I just think it makes sense on so many levels, i.e. more competition at the QB position in the near future, a completely new wrinkle to the offense for the immediate future, or maybe someone who turns into the next Heinz Ward or Antwaan Randle El. Or, the next Steve Young. Not to say that he's a "can't miss" prospect at all but I just think the upside for the pick is really high.

Happy- This upcoming season he'll be a situational player who will make the Wildcat formation more dangerous. Long term he'll give us another option should Henne not pan out. We get a considerable amount of WVU games here in Va, this guy is an electric player!
Thrilled about it. This guy is a football player and adds new dimensions to this team. We can now go from the traditional pro-set to the spread formation to the Wildcat and confuse the **** out of defenses. Pat White brings so much to the table offensively. Come September, you'll see what I'm talking about.

upset, we should have gotten a lb instead with that 2nd overall pick, i think the cowboys wanted pat white and right after we drafted him they traded there 2nd round pick for a 3rd rounder, so i think we should have traded for that lb that the cowboys are scared to let go, i forgot his name thoe for some reason

At first I was Soooooooooo Maddddd at this pick but the more I watched film and heard what this kid had 2 say the more I loved it! I think were in 4 some fun football. It may not work but I love the move because if it does work, we may have just reinvented the way offence is played in this game. Much like the West Coast changed things in the late 80's.

I don't like it but I won't complain about it because unlike any Dolphin regime from the past 15 years, this one has earned the benefit of the doubt. They pulled off a miracle last season that gave me too much joy for me to go sour on them because of a luxury pick.
