That and we really did have a ****y line during his time here. I liked Miller to be honest. He wasn't Ricky Williams but then again I don't think Ajay is yet either.
One good season does not equal a great back. Potential is just that until you make it reality. String three together back to back to back and then I'll be more apt to heap the career praise on you.
Ya you're right about 1 season doesn't mean someone's elite.
Ajayi flashed signs of greatness last year where IMO Miller was Miller (good player).
Miller seems like a good player that has reached his full potential.
Ajayi is way bigger and had more long runs.
If anyone had to chose, I think Jay would easily take the cake.( Not Dolphin fans lol)
He seems like he has it all as a runner. Vision, Power, Speed, Acceleration, holds onto the ball, breaks too many tackles to count, and finishes his runs with blunt force.
Miller would settle to hold the ball secure and go down more often than not.
As a Canes fan, I knew we had something good in Miller.
Luckily, Ajayi made the transition quite well as he was 17 yds behind Murray for AFC leader. (Murray YPC were way worse)
