If Welker had 4.4 speed, he would be Tim Dwight. He's got everything that Tim Dwight has with the exception of the 4.4 speed.

Well, that and a groin or hamstring pull every other week. Dwight's the Bobby Jackson of the NFL.

Here's how I look at it: Nick Saban is a pretty smart football coach, who had every right to get rid of anybody and everybody who worked for Wannstedt, but he evaluated Keith Armstrong's work and still kept him around, despite some sentiment that Armstrong was just another Wannstedt flunkie. That tells me that Armstrong did a hell of a job this year.
