Last year I read somewhere that Miami Dolphins fans swear more than any other NFL fanbase (a LOT more), at least when it comes to their team’s Reddit pages.
Based on this word cloud that shows which words Dolphins fans used most in 2014, it seems they defended that title with pride:

Impressive F word there. Even bigger than “Dolphins.”
Either Dolphins fans are more frustrated than most fanbases, or they just really love to swear for some reason.
If you have any theories on this by all means let us know in the comments.

-In comments section: It’s because of our supreme hatred for the Jets. A large majority of posts in the sub end in “**** the Jets.”
Also spammers hell bent on beating every sub by posting the word as many times as possible in a post.
 
I contributed to the cursing a lot this season. A lot of "are you ****ing kidding me" was heard in my house this year. :lol:
 
We're just careless depressed fans who just don't give a **** anymore :up:
 
When you have a ****ing stupid owner that doesn't know how to run a god damn football team it's makes you much more likely to ****ing cuss
 
I do nothing but swear about Miami since, well since JJ left.

I try not to around the kids but it still comes out. This year I coined a new one for our beloved team...."friggin friggers."

I'm calling total ****ing bull****. ("Cornfed" is nowhere to be seen :lol:)
 
I was going to comment but I saw SoCal's avatar and lost my train of thought.
 
I have a theory on why we lead the league in swearing but ill sum it up in two words: Joe Philbin.
 
The Dolphins' subreddit's motto is "**** the Jets"

It's constantly said there.
