Isn't it a bit of solace for it not to be the Dolphins in these constant headlines....after last year I'm glad the negative media spotlight is on other teams.

Buffalo was extremely disappointing and it certainly highlighted what needs to be fixed. This staff has that opportunity without a major distraction thus far. I expect the kinks to be worked out, as it did in Philly last year in installing this offense. But if we were to get a player of ours into one of these situations (ala Brandon Marshall a few years back) this year, it all but solidifies the fate of this staff and the cycle continues.

we need our men to act like men off the field, dont give the talking heads a reason to hang you. do this and develop an attitude on the field and expect to win, this group can change the status quo...

Yup, seemed like the bad news kept coming and coming in the offseason.

Here's a good tip: Keep your dick in your pants and don't have children with a hundred different women in 50 states. And if you do have kids, don't hit them with a tree branch like a drunk during the reconstruction era.

Don't jinx us... We are always just a nightclub away from the headlines with Pouncey on the team.

AP is a weird cat. He claims to be some devout Christian (thus the "spare the rod, spoil the child" defense) but apparently went around banging everything under the sun without a jimmy hat. I wonder how he squares that?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. It may seem selfish but I am glad the Dolphins arent at the forefront of this scandal

It's funny I just read a update that Winston from FSU suspended first half for jumping on table in student union and yelling some obscenity.

With all that's happened behavior wise, how much do you think his off the field track record will effect his draft position?

I think it definitely will. The kid just doesn't seem to get it. Manziel's antics affected his draft stock.

Fresh off a national championship and a heisman and you go shoplift crab legs from Publix? I just might take him off my draft board for being that dumb. QBs need to carry themselves differently than other players, and that means being mature and cognizant of how their behavior reflects on the team.

And thru all this I guarantee you more of this crap is going to come out of the woodwork now that the NFL and the media are paying very very close attention. Vince Wilfork is going to have one of his 100 lb. butt cheeks squash an ant and that will be front page news the way this stuff is going.

Yep.

Simple. It doesn't matter what he has done, will do, may do, could do... he's been saved.

That said, I wonder if the media feels silly jumping on their high horse re: bullygate when these domestic violence are much worse.

There is truth to what Arian Foster said recently...

I'm wondering how many of these wives who are unhappy are gonna start crying wolf so they can try and cash in. Gonna be funny to watch all these teams deactivating players left and right, just gonna be sad when it happens to guy who's actually innocent. It's a modern day witch hunt.

With all the trouble the league is in right, it just shows how much of a joke the media driven "bullygate" was.

most significant thing I read all day.

I listened to Jim Turner on ESPN the other morning while traveling. The man was as honest a man can be. Nothng happened here but a guy lost his job and he went home cryin. Realized he couldn't come back because he has mental issues deriving from his parents. But hey, at least he wasn't beaten with a tree branch.

This should be recorded as a PSA lmao
