Just released by the Falcons…..Come on down, got another one of your buddies here waiting to show you around. Bring him in for cheap and give him a chance to show that he still has it!!

So I guess you haven't watched him play recently, have you? He's 33 and the Falcons just cut him. That might tell you something. If they want to go with two vet corners, they will tag/sign Grimes (a virtual certainty) and keep Patterson, who was very good when healthy and pray he stays healthy. Samuel isn't happening.

miami rarely plays corner on the line as press corner. Asante's ability to read and react in off-man-coverage would actually benefit him in the dolphins scheme. As a team with hardly any veteran presence, I think Asante's knowledge and presence would be an asset; especially with our youngsters at the position. With that said, Brent Grimes is the main priority. He's a top 5 corner and makes this defense that much better. Just saying, Asante signing would be a valued one.

not to mention, asante was affected all season by a high thigh injury. thigh injuries typically affect speed and explosion. It takes awhile to recover from these kind of injuries, but after some time off he should be back to normal.
