The draft is just over six weeks away, and we're all discussing potential future Miami Dolphins. I can't remember a more fluid potential top 10 picks recently; there's a lot of talent, but very little consensus on who exactly is going to be in the top 5 picks. Heck, some "in the know" are actually discussing the potential of Shadeur Sanders sliding deep into the first round.

Here's a certainty. If Miami stays at pick #13, at least FIVE of the following players will be available when they pick. I'm fairly certain that most of them have been involved in a "run that card up to the podium" post.

Cam Ward
Shadeur Sanders
Abdul Carter
Travis Hunter
Armand Membou
Mason Graham
Mykel Williams
Shemar Stewart
Ashton Jeanty
Kelvin Banks
Will Campbell
Tyler Booker
Tyler Warren
Jalon Walker
Tetoria McMillan
Malakai Starks
Nick Emmanwori

That's 17 players. Discuss, and we can revisit this after Free Agency.

Edit to add:

I probably should have specified in the OP; these names came from several mock drafts I looked at from “notable publications” as being selected 1-12.

They’re not players I picked as my “wants.”

The top half of your list won't be around so basically look at the bottom half and hope Banks or Campbell are there.

My hope is there is someone there that a team is dying to get and offers us a boatload to move down.
Teams usually only offer up a boat load of picks for a QB which probably won't happen this year. Last one I can remember in our draft range was when the Bears traded a future first to move up to 11 or so to get Justin Fields. Unless we're moving down to the late twenties or early thirties we probably wouldn't get a second round pick in a trade down.

Since Banks was fine but didn't blow anybody away at the combine he might be there at 13 although with so many OL needy teams ahead of us its possible he might not be available.

With our draft luck its unlikely that there will be any "run that card up to the podium" players available.

I hope we don't reach for Booker. Grier doesn't value OG's that highly so we probably won't.

I have a feeling that Starks will be the pick.

I would rather trade down though and see if we can pick up an extra 3rd since I think the caliber of player we could get at around 20 will be about the same at 13.

The 5 that I covet... in no particular order: Williams, Stewart, Campbell, Banks, and McMillan... all of them would address areas where we are 'soft'. If we scored any of these 5, I'd be quite happy with th pick.

Graham or Carter (both of whom I expect to be gone) would push these 5 aside, and Membou would be my consolation prize pick.
