At LEAST five of the following will be available at Pick 13. Yes, I can math.

The draft is just over six weeks away, and we're all discussing potential future Miami Dolphins. I can't remember a more fluid potential top 10 picks recently; there's a lot of talent, but very little consensus on who exactly is going to be in the top 5 picks. Heck, some "in the know" are actually discussing the potential of Shadeur Sanders sliding deep into the first round.

Here's a certainty. If Miami stays at pick #13, at least FIVE of the following players will be available when they pick. I'm fairly certain that most of them have been involved in a "run that card up to the podium" post.

Cam Ward
Shadeur Sanders
Abdul Carter
Travis Hunter
Armand Membou
Mason Graham
Mykel Williams
Shemar Stewart
Ashton Jeanty
Kelvin Banks
Will Campbell
Tyler Booker
Tyler Warren
Jalon Walker
Tetoria McMillan
Malakai Starks
Nick Emmanwori

That's 17 players. Discuss, and we can revisit this after Free Agency.

Edit to add:

I probably should have specified in the OP; these names came from several mock drafts I looked at from “notable publications” as being selected 1-12.

They’re not players I picked as my “wants.”
You don’t have Jihaad Campbell, LB BAMA listed. I think he is a real possibility.

If starks or Graham is in that remaining 5 I trip all over myself to get Graham

OK, you can "Math".
Can you "English"? - LOL

Spk Engrish?

I've already turned in my card that says Warren, Tyler.

but honestly, i'm hoping we end up 16th - 19th. I think we try to recoup that mid third rounder.

I need to work at Waffle house because I am waffling again, lol. First I wanted Warren, then I wanted Membau, now after reading he's all ALPHA I'm feeling Warren again. Zierlein has Membau going 4th. and Warren 17th. Some think he won't get enough touches as a TE, but they do so much more than catch. Also, I said this before, when asked who he would prefer more, a pro-bowl WR or a pro-bowl TE, Steve Young said without question pro-bowl TE. Additionally, I believe Gronkoski contributed heavily to Brady's success. Gonna go with TE and hope Grier will get lucky and find a way to bolster our OL and DL with our other picks.

Picking a tight end in the 1st round is so dumb for this team that I 100% know that Chris Grier is considering him wholeheartedly. If we do draft the kid hope he can block like Gronk, cause we are going to need it, specially on passing downs. Drafting tight ends to help your pass protection, sounds like a total Dolphin move.

Yeah he helps a lot more than just pass protection for this team but it doesn’t sound like you want to have that convo so I’ll digress

Who, specially, do you want us to pick at 13 and why?

No offense, but you aren't exactly "open" to discussion either.......lol.

I mean one can disagree but still have an open mind to see another POV. You refuse to even acknowledge other views might possibly have merit in this situation.

We won't even get into the very questionable use of "digress".....

I don’t agree, I’m open to any convo but not one who infers that I’m dumb as well for wanting a tight end and that’s why I said what I said.

Not sure why you are coming at me aggressively and generalizing, perhaps you should check in on the draft forum and see convos that don’t tell anyone they are dumb.

Communication and tone is key to having a convo

Didn't mean to come off as aggressive. It's just that I tried to have a conversation before, and it sure didn't seem like you cared that TE is, generally, not considered a high value position for a rd1 pick. Nor did you want to acknowledge that no player is guaranteed to be a "game changer", let alone a TE, specifically in this scheme. When I pointed out how Kyle Pitts, who many touted as can't miss, generational (so overused), paradigm altering player, failed to live up to his billing, you just dismissed it with a hand wave, insulted me (insinuating I had no clue), and stated how I obviously hadn't watched the tape. I didn't care for that "tone".

That was weeks ago. After that, I just refrained from interaction. It gets to the point, though, when you treat so many others that way, I do respond. Not to be aggressive, just to point out that you, at times, have been fairly stubborn and overly adamant (IMO) on the matter.

No biggie. I said my piece and will move on.

I don’t recall me and you having a convo about the topic ?

I’m sure we were respectful cause I respect you
