Satisfied.

I'm not ecstatic with the pick, nor am I upset with this choice.

I only had four players who I realistically would have taken before Grant (Graham, Campbell, Membou, and Banks) and all four of them were gone. The team obviously tried to find a trade down scenario (as their extensive time of the clock showed), but evidently didn't receive any offers that they found worthwhile. And, in this, I was reminded of last year when all of the obvious Offensive Linemen were gone and we pivoted to Chop Robinson-- sometimes it pays to be smart and just take the logical choice.

We needed beef and Grant was probably the best remaining. Harmon has injury concerns, and Nolen has character issues, leaving Zabel who is a projection at Guard or Center.

I accept this pick, even though it doesn't excite me. Grant will start and he'll likely see an 80% snap share if he remains healthy. ...and yes, I do think Shemar Stewart will surprise the World with his disruption, but Grant was the safe, solid selection @ 13.

Satisfied.

Happy that Miami picked a player WITHOUT previous injury concerns. Happy that Seiler now has a decent play buddy. Happy Miami didnt trade up or back into the first round.
I think we HAD to take a day one starter this year.

Usually, I like to see home run swings in the 1st, but this pick looks really, really safe. At worst, he is a NT; if he becomes what some think he will become, he'll be a quality 3 tech with some pass rush ability as well.

Agreed. I’m happy with Grant. It was a solid, disciplined choice and has a very high upside.

I said earlier as many suggested, that if the fins didn't get their Christian Wilkins replacement the draft would have been a failure, so I do not want to hear crybabies on this site moaning and groaning, next up OL to replace Eichenberg who is terrible as a pro 6 feet 7inches and getting mauled by smaller players isn't a good look.

I'm happy with the pick but the dyer need for a CB and OG tempers my enthusiasm. I think they can get a very good player at 48, but 98 is a crap shoot. Can Grier go 3 for 3????

That Jaylen Wright trade is coming back to haunt us now.

I feel confident that we should get an immediate starter at 48 but at 98 its really a crap shoot. There will be a noticeable drop off in talent between picks 79 and 98.

This is a deep RB class and there will be good ones available on day 3 who are just as good if not better than Wright.
