No attention paid to the Oline again.....now Schwartz is visiting AZ and theyve offered Mathis a 2yr deal. Whats left Sanchez? Theyve got to take Conklin...make him a Zach Martin type guard for two years then put him at LT when Alberts done. In the 2nd you get a corner..Artie Burns or William Jackson. The 3rd or 4th now has to be a running back unless you think Ajayi will stay healthy which I dont. Epic Fail Dolphins again!:crazy:
 
I wasn't aware the regular season was starting this weekend.
 
I am willing to bet they have Eli Apple at the top of their board. They wouldn't have dropped down to 13 unless they thought the player they wanted all along would still be there and we have a gaping spot open at cornerback. Apple could step right in day 1 no questions asked.
 
No. Sign vasquez and draft a guard in the 3rd or 4th. Number 13 is a corner or we made a horrible pick. We have no number one corner and its not a position that later round picks are very succuessful unlike guard.

Start day one with us, yeah. With a good secondary, probably not. He's considered raw for a first rounder and may struggle his forst few years but might have the highest ceiling out of all the cb's in the draft.

2 years of NCAA and is as rough as they come.

Now I won't debate that he could start for us, but that's nothing to brag about. "Starters"

The size and speed are there but apple is pretty raw. Needs a lot of work on his technique - sloppy footwork, wasted steps, etc.. I don't think he'll be ready day 1 ... or Alexander for that matter.

IMO your prepackaged guys are ramsey, hargreaves, and Jackson. Other guys like apple, alexander, fuller, etc have high ceilings but lower floors. Not at all bad players - nice corner class if you ask me - but I wouldn't go throwing a top 15 at them ... but there are worse options

Since '08:

3 first round picks, 1 second round pick, 3 third round picks, 2 fourth round picks, and close to $200 million spent on the offensive line...and yet, fans still consider it ignored.

Why do you say that about alexander? I think he's almost just as day one ready as hargreaves. Not the playmaker you'd like to see but a very good man to man corner.
 
Apple should definitely be on the list...but so should conklin...but not as a future left tackle...doesnt have the feet or short area lateral quickness for it long term in an 11 personnel 5 man heavy protect o...

Both these guys are on my list though at pick 13 for consideration

hahaha, god we suck at this........let's just not try for a year and we might actually figure it out!
 
We can wait until 3rd or 4th round for a guard. There are some very good OGs in this class. OT can wait another year. Pick the best CB or edge rusher would be my plan, given that their aren't many really good ones in this draft. DT is stocked, OG and RB look good too in this draft.
