Saints | Hakim Agrees to One-year Deal

Mike Triplett, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports free agent WR Az-Zahir Hakim (Lions) has agreed to the terms of a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints. He plans to finalize the deal Monday, June 20 or Tuesday, June 21, according to Saints general manager Mickey Loomis and Hakim's agent, Bruce Tollner. "He had two good opportunities, and he felt like New Orleans was the best fit," said Tollner. Hakim is expected to compete as the Saints' No. 3 wide receiver. Loomis declined further comment on Hakim until the deal is completed.
