Elizabeth Merrill, of the Kansas City Star, reports free agent WR Az-Zahir Hakim (Lions) quickly decided after meeting with Kansas City Chiefs head coach Dick Vermeil that he wanted to be a Chief. He has reached an oral agreement with the Chiefs and is expected to be in Kansas City for their minicamp next weekend. Hakim previously thrived in Vermeil's offense when both were with the St. Louis Rams; and he is expected to quickly pick up a rapport with former teammate QB Trent Green.
