B.J. Raji didn't test positive!

Naive reporter imo. He was used by some team hoping Raji would fall, and then called that source "credible". If he would have done his research, there was only one or two people with knowledge of the tests at the time this was published...this report was published way before any team or player was notified.

While I agree with you...I'm sure more than one or two "people" knew the results...one person couldn't do all those labs by himself.

When lab test are done, the testers do know know the names of who the test samples belong too. They are given numbers like "player 123456789" in order to protect sensitive information. From my understanding, only a few people know have access to the players info that corresponds to their ID#. Sorry, I dont have a link but Ive seen mass testing first hand before.

Just too many hands and eye's at the computer.

I was the assistant Drug and Alch NCO in one of my units in the army. Only the Primary D&A guy had access to the list on the unit level, and, nobody at the actual lab had access to the list. They would report back the ID#s that were hot. Then the primary would go to the Commander, and, the process would start from there as far as notification and all that.

I would venture to say the process is much the same.

Was your computer local or on a system?

By the way...I never met a GI that didn't drink. You must have had a large list...

I had three sargent friends from Bragg...trying to get me drunk to sign papers when I was staying there for a couple months...just couldn't get the idea of jumping out a perfectly good airplane. Good thing at the time it was a dry state...only beer at the local strip clubs.

Things you always find near bases...pawn shops and strip clubs.

lol...The test was only for drugs...Not booze. It's just that we managed all those unit programs.

Davis, Cushing, Matthews Not On Positive List, Either

And so the truth continues to come out regarding the players who supposedly tested positive at the Scouting Combine.
Per a league source, none of the players who reportedly tested positive and then denied testing positive actually tested positive.
This means that Illinois cornerback Vontae Davis did not test positive for marijuana, and that USC linebackers Clay Matthews and Brian Cushing did not test positive for steroids.
And it could mean that Davis and Cushing and Matthews soon could be the new co-owners of NFLDraftBible.com, the site that reported that each of them tested positive.

Drug Test List Has Less Than Ten Positives

Some league insiders were bracing for 25 or more names on the list of players who tested positive for marijuana and other prohibited substances at the Scouting Combine.
In the end, the number is in the single digits.
Per a league source, fewer than 10 players tested positive.
We’re working on getting the names that are on the list and, perhaps more importantly, some of the key names rumored to have tested positive.

*Meh* I don't think NFLDraftBible.com is going to be worth owning after this. These draft sites run on credibility, and, nobody is going to take these guys seriously after a flub up like this.
