b. Meriweather and drew stanton

i really hope we get Brandon Meriweather with our 40th pick and hope to god that drew stanton falls to us wiht our 60th pick. that would be the greatest 2nd round draft ever and get an OL in the first with levi brown..

I think Levi Brown is the only realistic pick. Personally, I think there are too many teams that are looking for a QB in Stanton and many teams that would love to select a project with talent to groom for 1-2 years. I think Stanton will be gone in the first round, late first round.

That would be alright I guess, but "greatest 2nd round draft ever" may be the overstatement of the century.

I have no idea why you're so obsessed with Drew Stanton.. he is by no means the answer to our future.. next year it'll be another 2nd rounder who could easily come in and save our franchise so I might as well brace myself for more bull****

Assuming we can get a nice O skill player round 1 (QUinn or Ginn) I wouldnt mind Merriweather iwth the 40, although id put preference on OLine at that point. If we miss Quinn, Stanton at the 60 would be OK, but hes got a good chance to go late first and certainly early second-seriously doubt he makes it to 60. Id rather pick up a D guy and OLine in the second, then look at Kolb or Troy Smith or someone in round 3-4.

Merriweather if Allen moves to CB is ideal. He is a excellent covering FS and would bring even more versatility and speed to the secondary.

He's too great a talent to slip to us, especially with how well he worked out for the draft. I bet the Chargers grab him at the end of round 1, I'd love to get him at #40 though.
