However, the starting jobs will be decided in training camp. Spriggs was given medical clearance this week but was limited during Thursday's work.

Thomas said the visit doesn't mean there's anything wrong, he just wants to make sure he's still on track to avoid aggravating the neck injury he suffered near the end of last season.

May 3, 2002 2:11:07 PT The Miami Herald reports former Miami Dolphins head coach Don Shula stopped by to watch the Dolphins practice on Thursday and he came away impressed with RB Ricky Williams. Shula said Williams looked very good catching the football. "What I liked about him was the way he made cuts catching the football and the ease with which he caught the football. It looked natural," Shula said.
