Assuming Patrick Surtain and Sam Madison are cap casulties/cuts I'd LOVE to see the fins bring em both back to miami for a year. Yeah it doesnt get us younger but hell we didnt draft any corners anyway! If we have cap room and don't aquire any corners who wouldn't love seein the two of them back with one year deals!
 
Why not??? seriously what's the risk??? We didnt pick up any corners and we got cap room. One year deals is all i'm sayn
 
I wouldn't mind surtain, but those guys are getting old, I want to see some youth.

As much as I would love to see them in a Dolphins uniform again. I just do not think that it would be in the best long term interest of the team to bring them back. I think Madison is 34 and Surtain is going to be 33 next month. To bring them back in would probably mean waiving a couple of young guys that we need to be developing for our long term future.

These guys would only fill the spots for a year at most and then we will be looking to replace them again. I would let them pass.
 
All i'm sayn is it'd be nice to see em back and there's no risk at all. If we had drafted some corners and had youthful quality depth that'd be a different story but with one year deals we could bring back 2 corners that were arguably the best tandem of the late 90's early 00's to mentor and possibly help develope a diamond in the rough out of the UDFA we picked up.
 
Replace??? Deffinetly not sayn that....Add is more like it. It's not like they'd come in guarenteed starting spots that'd have to be earned.
 
I mean if anything might boost revenue a little helpin us in the future anyway!
 
Though I love the guys and what they did for so many years for us... I don't think we can afford it. I don't mean from a monetary standpoint, I mean from a developmental one. This year expectations are low coming off a 1-15 season, this is a season of 'developing talent' and though we did not draft at Corner, it will be a great opportunity to examine the depth we have on this team at the position. I think adding them would be for purely sentimental reasons as we are not 2 players away from the Show.
 
I almost...almost wouldn`t mind seeing Surtain back as a nickel. No way to Madison! Bringing either one of them back goes against everything Parcells is trying to accomplish. It will never happen.
