Yeah, pretty much. We had very liitle pass rush without him the first game. Which he was suspended for the same thing, which he says was the same occurence. So he shouldn't be punished again.

Basically, he tested positive in July for it and was automatically suspended for the opener. Then when he was tested several weeks later he was positive again, which means 50% of the season suspension. He's appealing on the grounds that both positive tests were the result of the same event.
 
Thats like double indemnity.You cant be tried for the same crime twice.

Oh well maybe you can according to SEC rules.Tough break.Thats when depth becomes so important

Thats his defense. Although I'm no expert but I would think one use of the stuff wouldn't stay in your system that long. Who knows, I don't know the exact amount of time between tests.
 
That would be a HUGE blow to the defense! He may be the most important player on the defense IMO. It all starts up front, and he's the best one up there. McDonald is good if not great, but he's still coming off two blown knees if I remember right. Not good... not good at all.

It can stay in your system for about 90 days however it is unlikely that it did stay in his system that long

Geez, this same stupid argument comes up from a stoner every time someone gets nailed for using a BANNED substance. It's banned whether a player likes it or not. If he uses it he knows what the consequences are.

You want to be a ball player, you don't use Mary Jane.
Plain and simple.

Well now I'm hearing it was only 4-6 weeks between tests so I guess anything is possible. He is appealing and there has been a similar case in 2001 that was overturned. Lets hope.....

Well Urban Meyer said there was no timetable on the suspension and there could be more or less than 5 games. I hope he comes back before the Auburn game. That game is where he will be needed more than any other game this year

Well you start the thread in the main Dolphins area that its ok that Ricky Williams smoked pot cause there ain't nothing wrong with it
