last yr draft sucked

9 overall tedd ginn ( terrible pick, evn ginn was like wow... " we drafted the ginn family" .......... cam's an idiot........

40 overall ( john beck ) ........ will be lucky the get a 5 th rounder for him...... BUST........

salelte .......... ( for welker ) he looks ok.........

#rd 3 round loronzo booker ...... gone ... got lucky getting a fourth ........

if we had parcells .... these would be a lot better players, ie... patrick willis, a reciver, etc......... what a waste of a draft ...

muller was terrible!!!!!!!!

agreed. I'm not an expert on line play like some of you guys, how is satele? Is he a guy we should think of as our long term center? Or will we need to upgrade sometime, after we get all our glaring holes filled?

1. Ginn doesnt suck
2. Beck- no longer our future
2a. satele- no idea
3. lol, got a 4 for booker

Satele is so up and down I don't know what to think about him. One week he looks great, the next he looks awful and gets dominated. No consistency with him.

Getting a starting lineman like Satele is much better than having a #3 wr like Welker who really is a dime a dozen. The man crush so many dolfans on this board have on Welker is funny.

This team is the victim of many bad drafts. Ginn was a gamble that we're not sure will pay off yet. Beck, Allen, Booker were horrible picks. Had we employed a true draft mogul 3 years earlier, this franchise would have been turned around without the asset strip and rebuild.

center should be a position of need this off season unless alex mack, is available in the 2nd round, then it might be worth it cuz hes one of the best center prospects in 5 years

the rest of the draft class was awful

Ginn is totally un-predictable. Last week he has seven cathces while this week he had 1 for negitive yardage. In the last two years Ginn has fumbled the ball 6 times, 5 of those on punt returns. The worse thing about those fumbles is that recievers are ment to have good hands.

The sad thing is when you compare him to another 1st round WR pick in that draft Robert Meachem of the Saints. Meachem never played a single game last year for the Saints because of injury and slow development in the NFL. Yet this season he has stepped up after Colston went down. It seems he has now passed out Ginn in terms of development also.

Its too early to give up on Ginn, he seems to be showing slight improvement this year. I just hope at the end of the season we will start to see the makings of a first round pick.

This has all been stated before, many times infact. Whats done is done. Just be glad Mueller and Cam are gone.

1. Ted Ginn - Is a good retunrer(which he needs to be doing more of) and a decent WR right now. I still think he can turn out to be a very good WR, but he has a ways to go. I do think he would benifit more from a QB like Henne than one like Pennington.

2. John Beck - Probably started too early in his pro career, and it appears doing so destroyed his confidence. He is a decent QB, but I just don't think he will ever be able to get in back together as a Dolphin.) I wouldn't be surprised if he is traded tomorrow right before the deadline.

2. Samson Satele - The best pick of the 07' draft. He is not a Pro Bowl calibar center, but he is a very good one. He will only continue to get better and he has some great pieces around him on the oline to help him out. A good pick and a guy who will probably be the starting center for a long long time.

3. Lorenzo Booker - Is a good change of pace back, but will never be an every down back. Fit the type of offense Cameron was installing, but didn't fit the one Sparano/Parcells wanted. It is a shame we had to trade him for a 4th round pick, just a year after drafting him in the third.

4. Paul Soliai - Looked like a complete bust after his rookie season. Though, he was determined to improve and actually has looked decent in year two. Could develop into a nice long term backup at NT.

6. Regan Muaia - Decent blocker, but horrible when he had the ball in his hands. Was a fumble waiting to happen each time he touched it. Early fan favorite, but probably shouldn't have been drafted.

6. Drew Mormino - Injury prone and could never get on the field. New staff didn't keep him around real long.

7. Kelvin Smith - Decent LB, but is now on IR. Probably doesn't have much of a future here.

7. Brandon Fields - Has been a pretty good punter for us. Continues to get better.

7. Abraham Wright - Showed promise in the preseason of his rookie year. Cut and I believe is now out of the NFL.

Its not a complete disaster, but that draft is probably gonna end up looking pretty bad in 5 years.
