Ballage has nothing to prove

I can understand why some people see the comparison to Daniel Thomas, they both are big guys that don't tend to play that way. But Thomas still had some vision. We forget his first two games in the league he totaled 107 yards and 95 yards rushing. That was with a Henne who was lost on the field at that point and an offense that just struggled to find itself after the lockout. But he developed that nagging muscle injury and was in and out of the lineup the entire rest of the year after that, at which point Reggie Bush became out feature runner. After that it really seemed like the Philbin coaching staff just ruined Thomas trying to make him a physical runner. He was a slow back but he was elusive and instinctual, and after Philbin got ahold of him he ran towards contact but never managed to win there.
