I don't usually post just read and thank but I have to admit , it looks like we are getting some fans on here that are not TRUE fins fans. PLEASE O PLEASE let us not turn into another AFC east team we all know and hate with " Fans" coming out of the woodwork. Is it just me or is this just the beginning now?

It's going to happen. Hell, we were popular even when we were mediocre.

ive been here long enough now to know who is genuine and who deserves respect, and there are others who have been here far longer than i have. i dont think we need to worry about that though, here at least... anyone who comes here is a hardcore phinatic.

There are many that have a sentimental heart string tuned to the Dolphins because of their 1972 Perfect Season, Don Shula...and Dan Marino...or just because we're like huge underdogs all the way through.
There are alot of teams out of the playoffs now. Heartstrings are being tugged...because you have to have someone to root for. The Dolphins will get a lot of bandwagon types...but then...many of them may become true fans when we go all the way and shock the world!

I've been noticing this since about 1/2 way thru the season. I rocked my finswear all throughout last year at the gym, out in public, at work sometimes. Not once did I see anybody (especially at the gym where all I ever got was trash talk) showing up with fins gear. Now I go to the gym and there are like five other dudes wearing the stuff. Where were you last year you fairweather MFers? I guess a fins fan is a fan, but they rate only slightly higher than a non- AFC east* fan to me.

theyll never feel how real fans feel after thompson caught that 4th and 10 to beat the patriots, or when we came back from 23-3 to beat buffalo in the 4th, or beating the undefeated bears in chicago when we were 1-6, or the big play against the ravens last year, or whacking NE this year, jp's sack against the 9ers, or yesterdays victory. The last five years or so have been rough, but the feelings yesterday were genuine for those who never lost faith and that's something bandwagoners will never have. The best comparison would be working for something and earning it compared to it just being handed to you by your parents, the second can never match the first.
