“For us, the ball was coming out crisp, clean, tight spiral, a little more juice on it. I like what he did. He’s a little like Tua [Tagovailoa] in the sense he’s accurate. Very good short to intermediate thrower. Quinn would be the first to tell you there are a couple decisions he wishes he had back, but I thought he did a nice job in the limited window he had. It gives you excitement moving forward about what potentially he could be.”
He also made some nice scrambles when protection broke down which has been something missing in the room in a big time critical way
Imo, I do feel like we have a very talented qb on our hands in Ewers when it comes to things that qbs must now how to do, we might of got real lucky here if on one condition imo.
I’ve seen enough of this ****y Texas kid to know he has that way about him that makes players naturally follow him and play hard for him, Texas kid has some swagger now that’s for sure.
I like that he has that cowboy hat belt buckle and jeans in the Miami culture, he’s just cool man, no circumstances here either :)
Now saying all that one thing I believe will keep him average, push him to being our real qb of the future or failing.
This dude has to train hard just like Tua didn’t, strength, quickness and agility.
He’s got good genetics to build on those three trains to help elevate his game, i am very confident that he hasn’t been a gym rat up til this point so i sure hope he know and makes the sacrifices to reach his physical apex potential.
Would absolutey love to see him starting to
Post videos of him taking this opp serious and training like a mad man.
I probably won’t get that wish and he’ll probably fall in line with many that have hi level talent and just rest on those Laurels, but that’s my Tua scar tissue talking
Let’s go longhorn, let’s see what you got, and let me tell when I go to camp this July and August you can bet your ass I’m going know how
Much work he did put in
