Satele's contract was a strange one in that $750K is in incentives paid just under $47K per game if he is on the 46 man roster. If he is inactive, he does not get that money. I've never seen a contract quite like that, and was good for the team with the Pouncey questions.

This is all I could find on SS's contract. Rotoworld. "8/2/2014: Signed a one-year, $2 million contract. The deal contains $250,000 guaranteed. 2014: $1.25 million (+ $750,000 in per-game roster bonuses)"

It says per game roster bonuses. It does not specify that he has to be activated for each game to get the bonuses. Just be on the roster. The 53 man roster, I'd presume. I guess one could read it how you apparently did, based on there being no comma between game and roster. But I don't think I'll go along with that. I may be wrong though.
