[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]St. Louis Rams CB Ron Bartell is only hours away from becoming a free agent...Bartell is a raw talent who refined his game and came of age in 2008, just as he was due to become an unrestricted free agent. 2nd guy on my hit list after brown...must get. I know CK has been on his jock as well for quite some time. Hope this becomes a signing come Friday.

Lots of potential, big size they like and raw with room to grow.

Love him as a replacement for Goody.

We were abused all year by bigger WRs, and the guy is 6'1. Add him and Sean Smith to our team, and suddenly, bring on Larry Fitzgerald! (Well, not really, I am just excited about free agency :))

It would be great to have him in Miami because of his size and his style of play.. Good upside and if you talk about great size I like Butler from the Giants (6'3'') and he will be a free agent for sure according to the Giants..

hes got good size and performed at a nice level.. Also has nice speed at about 4.35 - 4.4

sounds good to me. we definitely need bigger corners. Or atleast one bigger corner

I like him a lot but would rather have McFadden..a friend of mine who is a Steeler fan says he is a hard worker and is going to get better as he gets older...Bartell is good too, i wonder if this means Goodman is not gonna b here in '09?

I can't say I knew much about him prior to now. I just looked up his bio and stats. He sounds very intriguing and definitely worth a close look.

I really like Bartell as a potential free agent pick-up. He's one of the 3 CB's I really hope we take a look at (Bodden & McFadden being the other two.) The only thing that scares me away from Bartell is the fact that he's been playing a lot of zone in STL, but other than that, he is my favorite out of the mentioned trio. Good size, good speed, and good hands. And he definitley compliments W. Allen nicely. Plus, he'll be cheaper than McFadden and Bodden. He'll cost more than Goodman, but he's entering his prime now compared to Goody maybe exiting his prime.
