but it's time for Daunte to go. I thought Saban would have had the brass to pull him after the half. Instead, we witnessed a Wannstinian approach to the 16- 0 deficet. Is anyone the least bit nervous that Saban has lost the cojones we've all grown to love him for? Sticking with an inept(for lack of better word) QB, consistantly afraid to pass the ball on third and short, punting the football with 10 minutes to go in the 4th down by 3 scores? Be as positive as you want fellas, I know some of you will be pumping your poms-poms to the tune of "Give them time!" but we need a drastic change and we need one immediately. Joey Harrington- save the Miami Dullphins!

I agree, but everyone knows i wanted Joey to start from day 1

I wouldn't bench Cpep now, way to early to get rid of the guy.

Damn two games and it is time for Pep to go. Glad you aren't the coach.

I was at the mini camp and saw people booing the daylights out of Harrington.

Now people want him to start over DC.

So damn fickle.

Harrington would have gotten sacked just as many times yesterday.

Hey, apparently the coaching staff sees something that so far to this point we haven't. I say give Daunte another HALF of football. If he is still stuggling after the first half in next weeks game, then put Joey in to start the third quarter. I just hope that Joey is comfortable enough in this offense for this to work. Try and stay positive about Daunte for at least another half. We're playing Tennessee and should have success. But, if we don't I'm all for Joey becaue we can't go down 0-3. But as of right now we still have 14 games to play.

I'm not "pumping my pom poms" but this IS a new team, a new staff, a new QB and it DOES take time. CPep has been in two LIVE games since he was hurt. He will get better and right now, Harrington is NOT the answer. The answer is more reps, more time.

I think the main problem is that we and the media have placed way too high of expectations on this team. A slow start was inevitable.

 WOW!!! After two games you want to get rid of him. Now lets look @ the two games so far. The first against the defending Champs @ their home.... Yeah that was all D.C. fault there. We punt the ball to them with the lead and give them horrible field position on around their own 10 yard line..... The next play is a 90 yard TD and thats CP's fault. Yeah he through 2 INT's it happens to all of the good QB's. The second game against a division rival team in division games any team can win them unless you are the Texans playing the Colts. I only saw two bad passes by CP in that one and only one of them was costly, the INT to finish off a good drive @ the end of the first half. I have no f***ing idea what he was thinking on that one. ANd the other one was the pass to CC about 25 yards down field and he looked wide open and he through it in front of him. Besides that I saw horrible play calling and no blocking for RB or for DC. The O-line has been horrible so far this year not CP and for d**n sure not RB whom has been breaking tackle after tackle getting every yard he can on every play.

Seriously, I need to take a break from this board for the day, maybe a few days. I've been on here more or less all day reading and receiving stupid response after stupid response and I just can't take it anymore. Are my opinions or statements always true or correct....omg no!

But, are posts about benching Daunte, starting Joey, and firing Saban getting old, oh yeh! I really feel dumber after being on here all day. I should have known better, I should have known....

:boohoo:

Just because everyone doesn't want to join in with your doom and gloom approach to the Dolphins doesn't mean we're Saban/Culpepper huggers. Did Culpepper play bad? Yes, but not as bad as some people on this board make it out to be. You guys who are realistically expecting Joey Harrington to be the "savior" of this franchise are in for a rude awakening if/when this guy gets his chance to play. If he does play, hopefully I'm wrong and he lights it up, but I just don't see it...gut feeling...but to bench Culpepper after two games, especially when the last one was a complete team fcuk up shows me how fickle some of you fans are and how little you know about the game. My old HS team is trying this rotating QBs monkey business...when one sucks put in the other to suck even worse...that's what you guys really expect a professional franchise to do, play musical chairs at the QB position

This is getting ridiculous. I just want to know what kind of person it takes to call for a guy's head after just 2 games. Didn't everyone say drafting Ronnie was a mistake after the first 2 games? Didn't everyone want a "real" number one reciever last year? If you ask me, Ronnie and Chris have turned out just fine. You have to give him till the bye week. Besides, Peyton Manning wouldn't have been able to manage behind our line yesterday.
