Somewhere deep down inside of all of us, we know Jeff Fisher is overrated. Yes, he's a good coach, but the NFL is trending in a different direction. We need a young guy to come in. New blood. I'd love to see Rob Chudzinski in here. Plus, he's got ties to the area.

It sucks being snubbed by head coach after head coach, but honestly, I don't think Fisher really studied the Phins of last year. We are a damn good team.

One other thing, if Fisher came to Miami, he'd get rid of nolan and daboll. I would much rather have Chud and keep nolan and daboll.

I'm totally okay with this. NOT the same thing as Harbaugh.

I always fine with this. My prayers were answered... Now we just kick his A** next year when the Rams come to our house. Lets get Philbin and Flynn in here now !!!

Honestly, I have no real expectations for the team atm. Jeff Ireland gets to push around some unknown failure of a head coach - we draft 3 right tackles and 4 guards in the draft - we continue to suck. God why is this franchise so snakebitten. Fisher wasn't even atop my list, but I have no confidence in the future of this franchise with Ross and Ireland running the show.

What "be honest?"

From the outset, I was on record as wondering very vocally what all this fuss was all about centering around a coach who had all of 6 winning seasons out of 16 and half including five 8-8 ones, who's 2-5 in the playoffs since 2000 and was too dense or bullheaded to not renew his contract with a meddlesome, cheap owner the several times it surely came up.

Throw in his stated "run first" eerily familiar philosophy, the fact that he didn't benefit introspectively from any broadcast booth overview perspective and that he wanted the keys to entire kingdom, and I've said all along we can do worse, but sure can do a helluva lot better.

At this point I'm actually relieved and give Ross props for not caming in to a mediocre coach who thinks he's built more credibility capital than he actually has. Hopefully this will be for the best and we will end up with a Shawn Peyton or Harbaughs type outside the box thinker with fresh ideas.
