Beck is supposed to be the best of the second-tier Qb's...
Brady Quinns deep throws looked pretty bad to me anyway.

On a side note, Ted Ginn isn't bad. BUT he has a foot injury
and Randy and Cam could of traded down a couple of spots,
aquired more picks and STILL would have gotten Ginn..
Bad move by us...

I wouldn't be upset if we grabed him

I would not be upset either with him or Stanton. But if we go qb how about OL, tackle and center namely? We better get some value later on today and tomorrow when it comes to lineman to protect whoever will be starting at qb!

I'm suspect Miami tried to trade down but found no takers. Ginn probably wouldn't have made it past Tennesse at 19.

I think Beck is more of a system guy coming from Byu if I had my choice I would take Edwards from Stanford

I imagine we didn't have a partner to trade down with...

I think that is the case just due to the fact we used almost all the time, I don't hate the pick. I am however extremely interested in what cam and ram say as to WHY they passed on Qinn. :err:

The NFL Network had said right after the craziness had died down about Ginn being picked that the Texans were probably going to draft him seeing as how Levi Brown was off of the board at that point. So, if this is true, Miami did the right thing as far as getting "their guy". He was definitely not who I was hoping for as I was one fo the many Quinn-hopefuls but at least we can all take some solace in the fact that Miami did not have to settle for the 1st pick. Ginn's been on so many of our hit lists for so long it all seems to have come full circle.
