Beck still working real hard

He better get his butt in gear....I cringed every time I seen him play!
 
This kid wants it. This is what I like too see out of a young quarterback. Be the hardest worker on the team, thus setting the tone for your teammates.
 
4000 throw isnt even that much. I played QB in highschool and id go out and throw at least 100 balls a day with my WRs.

At 100 throws a day that means he only threw for 40 days. The season has been over for over 3 months.
 
By the way im not bashing John Beck I like the guy. But just saying in my opinion 4000 throws in 3 months isnt alot
 
who is he throwing the ball to? I wish it would mention our wr's are working hard aswell. so is he throwing to targets or what? anybody know?

I would assume that most of his work has been done with Ted Ginn. Hopefully, Derek Hagan has been catching passes from Beck as well.

rem. romo threw 10000 passes the year he became a starter. during that offseason he threw 10k's and theyh worked on fixing his delivery. So far its the same process so i expect Beck to be the starter 100%
 
I still think Beck is our guy. I like his effort and his intellegence. He has a passion for the game that is almost Marino-like. He just needs to get in there and play, take his lumps, and grow with the team.

I don't expect him to be like Marino but he has the tools both physically and mentally to be a very good pro.
 
I am really getting tired of all these pessimistic comments about Beck. I know it is all about being a fan but let get serious the guy is working his butt off to get ready for the season.If he is our guy or not I don't see any of this year draft class of QB coming in here and doing any better than beck so let's support who we have now!!!!

I havent read one pesimistic thing about Beck in this entire thread. I said that 4000 throws didnt seem like alot. But that has nothing to do with Beck. Im on record saying Beck will at worst be a decent QB in this league.
