Beck was a wasted pick not the Pat White pick.

At least Pat white will reach the field...Beck was a second that will never.

So please stop bitching.

Wait till he lines up at wide reciever, comes around takes the ball from ronnie brown, and throw a real touchdown to Fasano. If it doesnt happen then start bitchin.
 
I still think Beck can be a decent QB in this league, if not a solid backup. The thing is, he needs a change of scenery. He doesn't fit into the team's plan and it would be best for everyone if he has a chance to catch on somewhere else. Hopefully now that the draft is over, some team will be callin g us so they can acquire him as a backup.

Pat White is not a pure passer like Beck, but he is versatile and can do a lot of things well.

That's exact it, he's caught under a new regime..and it's not going to allow him to showcase his skills with better players around him..
 
Trade Beck...he'll never start on this team. Hes basically a waste of a roster spot. Get a late round pick for him if you can. He hasnt proved his worth so your not gonna get something of great value for him but you might as well get somethin rather than keepin him till his contract expires.

Like the waste of space repeating your in depth option on Beck in this thread is? Post it 3-4 more times in this thread just so everyone is clear.

The better question is: Why was this thread even created?
 
What has John Beck done to prove hes got what it takes to be a starting QB in the NFL?

Im not hatin, im just curious. I watch every game and when he came in a few years ago he was terrible. I dont see what goes on at training camp and what the coaches get to see but from what i saw he dont got what it takes to be a starter.

I agree, the jury remains out on Beck, he may still turn out to be a good QB he just needs to find a place where he can get a realistic chance. That place is not here, not anymore. I can't believe we weren't able to trade him.
 
You might be right about the reality about John Beck not being In the teams plans for the future, but until I see with my eyes that he is no longer a dolphin i will support him like every other player on our team. And the drafting of Pat White at qb just makes for better competition for the Q-backs on our team. I hope you understand my reasoning on Supporting John Beck and all Players on our team. thanks
 
If John Beck was so great...wouldnt he be starting rather than being #3 on our depth chart? think about that...

I totally agree. Beck got thrown to the wolves here. In a situation where he could never have succeeded.

I'll become a good back up for someone. Just not us.
