looks like Vickerson has got his head screwed on at last... KC is going to be a great asset to both Vickerson and Manny.

thats good to hear ronnies working with the first team now, i think he'll be playing with them for sure after the pitt game

it's a fantastic problem.. just a tad different from last year.
 
good to hear ronnie and ricky ripping off long runs, im excited, good to hear bostons back looking healthy too... hopefully we really come together for this game...
 
I don't know why, but I find it equally hilarious and bizarre that Saban praised Mare. I just can't think of a reason why you'd praise a kicker after practice... oh well.
 
Maybe Mare is the type of guy who needs encouragement to continue performing well, and the coach knows it?
 
I think the Mare thing is for confidence. We may all think of kickers as about as non-football as you can be, but they're one of the most important guys on the team. They rarely get the spotlight but are usually the first guy to get burned when a close game is lost. Any position with that much pressure is 90% mental. I like the fact that Saban knows that and gives him a little public acknowledgement.

Ronnie needs to get in football shape if he's going to be the starter while Ricky serves his suspension. It's great they've got him on top of the chart already. That brings more hope to a showing vs. Pitt!
