Did you feel the same about Peyton?
Both Pro Bowl qb's in 2010.
Both injured and missed 2011
both age 34+.
David Garrard v. Peyton Manning
In an effort to save some valuable time, I'll let you make the first argument and then I'll go from there.

...that if moore gets injured, we have a potentially capable back up qb on the ready.
A guy who has not played in over a season & coming off back surgery & is 34 years old is that guy? Ugh
who is that girl in your sig? That's a solid reason to draft, in the late rounds, huge OL men -- not just to protect Moore, but to open holes for Bush.
There is no way David Garrard wins the starting job. He might be given a chance to "win" the job but I just can't see him doing it.
He's 34. He didn't play at all last season. That's a huge deal in the NFL. You can't take years off like that and just step back in unless you're some kind of freak athlete. David Garrard is not that kind of player. Matt Moore has the momentum going into camp.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if David Garrard doesn't make it to the 53 man roster.
I notice how everyone is fixated on the fact that Garrard is only signed for one year. Yet, everyone is forgetting that Moore is only under contract for 1 more year as well. Basically, as things sit right now, at the end of the season the only QB the Dolphins have under contract is Devlin. They are going to have to draft someone in this draft or go "all in" in next years draft for a guy like Barkley.
