Belicheat Misses Out on First Round HOF Selection!

If you want to punish him for spygate that's fine i suppose, but the Brady argument is ridiculous
What hall of fame coach did anything without a HOF QB? Parcells?
Shula had Unitas, Griese, and Marino for almost his entire coaching career
Shula didn't win a super bowl with Marino and missed the playoffs nearly half of the time he had Marino
Except Beli had no 1 pick QBs every time:

Kosar - 3 AFC title games
Testes - 1 AFC title games
Cam Cam - SB
Mac Jones - no 1 pick

It’s not like he had David Woodley…

And how about Joe Gibbs winning 3/4 SBs w non-HOF QB talent ?

Actually neither. I actually don't know. If you think he should, then apparently you think his career statistics would be the same with and without Brady.
That’s not really the argument, though. Saying a coach or QB benefits massively from an elite pairing doesn’t mean their results would be identical without it. It just means context matters.
Brady obviously elevated Belichick, just like Belichick elevated Brady. Acknowledging that doesn’t erase either one’s ability, it just rejects the idea that outcomes exist in a vacuum. No one seriously thinks careers are plug-and-play independent of situation.

And Don Shula had three Hall of Famers. With which he won two titles versus six. What is your point?

Gibbs won three with three different QBs, agree that he’s underrated.

All I care about is that he never gets Shula’s record.
Maybe this is the reason to keep him out? Think Rivers being delayed because he came back to play this year. They don't want Bill touching this record so by the time he is 75, his girlfriend will be 27. And I thought I was a dirty old man with my wife 17 years younger than me. Actually, put Bill in now. Not for his coaching prowess but his ability to pull chicks 40+ years younger than him.

😂

Is Philip Rivers really a Hall of Fame QB? There’s only one quarterback in the Hall with zero First or Second Team All-Pro selections, Troy Aikman, and he has three Super Bowl rings. If Rivers gets in, he would be the only QB in Hall of Fame history with zero All Pros and zero Super Bowl wins. That’s a pretty significant outlier.

That matters because the Hall has historically required either clear peak dominance or postseason validation at the quarterback position. Rivers has longevity and volume stats, but he was never viewed as the best at his position in any season, and he never translated that production into meaningful playoff success.

At some point, you have to ask whether this is a Hall of Fame résumé or just the modern version of Vinny Testaverde. A talented, durable quarterback who put up big counting stats across a long career in a pass-friendly era, but was rarely a true difference maker at the highest level.

She's just another gold digger. But she's the dangerous type. She's not a dumb bimbo like most of them are. She might kill him if he doesn't die of old age fast enough for her liking.

I assume that Spygate & Deflategate have come back to bite him in the ass?
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!
He'll get in sooner or later I'm sure, but for the winningest SB coach to NOT be a first-round selection?
Karma's a bitch isn't it, Billy!

Far more then just Spygate and Deflategate came back to bite him in the butt.

1. Most SB wins have some bad taste with
unscrupulous decisions helping them to either reach or win SB.

2.Spygate...Deflategate...Eaglegate(2005)...Headsetgate (2015)...
PeytonGate in 2015...BengalsGate in 2019:..Trying to steal Welker with a poison pill...Always signing players from teams just to get information, not to use them in games...Confusing misinformation every week for the injury report.

3. NFL people just finding it icky watching him date woman younger then his granddaughters.

4.

Keep Testaverde's name out of your mouth. Man of legend.

I don't see the relevance of where the QB was drafted as compared to how good the QB was in the NFL
The original point was most hall of fame coaches didn't win anything without a hall of fame QB and Shula was no different
Further accentuating the point is Shula never won anything with Marino and missed the playoffs entirely numerous times with him
