Does anyone else think Yeremiah Bell and Tavares Tillman are doing a nice job for us at safety? I hear a lot about drafting a safety but these two guys are young and they seem to be able to make some big plays. I would think with more experience they could be very solid. I think we could re-sign schulters and play these guys and wait another year on getting a safety. Thoughts?

I believe Travares Tillman is damn good. He ties the team with 3 interceptions. And Yeremiah did more than ring a few bells (no pun intended). He's also tied for 3 picks.

They have both played pretty well, I wouldn't mind those two in camp as starters w/ another vet and a draft pick as competition.

i have been pleasantly surprised with their play. BUT it can be better, and saban likes to have young guys waiting in the wings... DEPTH,DEPTH, DEPTH!!!!

Ya, they've played great. They really fit his system more than Schulters does at FS. They can fly to the ball, and are great at making plays and pass coverage.

Tillman makes a better FS than a SS(He's not good in run support). Bell has some ints to his name, but I'm more impressed with his timely tackles (he's made several key drive ending stops this year)

They have been pretty good, but I wouldn't mind seeing Saban draft a guy like Michael Huff. That guy has star written all over him. He would be a huge addition.

They're doing a nice job. But one concern is the injury bug. Tillman and Bell have been injured here and there. Safety depth then becomes an issue so I hope we can resign Schulters and maybe Tebucky.

I'm not sold on Schulters. Bell played really well. If I had to rank them:

1. Bell
2. Tillman
3. Schulters

Schulters is 2nd on the team in tackles, tied for 1st in Ints, and has 2 sacks? How is that bad?

Although I must admit. I was not happy with Tillman at the beginning of the season, but he has started to play better as the season progress. I still think we should get Huff if the opportunity presents itself.

Both Yeremiah Bell and Travares Tillman are great athletes. Tillman has been making some very athletic plays in recent weeks. Against Tennessee, he almost had an interception on a play where he showed incredible leaping ability and body control. He was covering the receiver down the middle like a blanket, and he made a play on the ball. The receiver undercut him though, and he didn't come down with the pick.

I don't believe I've seen a Dolphins defensive back that has a better burst to the ball than Yeremiah Bell though. I really like what I've seen from him, and he seems to get better with each game. He does a very good job of covering the inside receiver better than any nickle back Miami has played. He flies to the ball, and he's also very good on his blitzes.

Schulters is 3rd in tackles. I didn't say he was bad though. I said I wasn't sold on him. He will need a contract in the offseason to stay with Miami. If he doesn't ask for too much, then maybe Miami keeps him.

I agree with your thoughts on Bell. He reacts to ball very well and he's an excellent blitzer. Did you know that his contract is up at the end of the season? We have to re-sign him. At least Wanny got one thing right while he was here...

For a sixth round pick, he's not bad at all.

I think he's a RFA, considering that he's only been in the league for three years.
