i'm not sure what formation the fins were running last sunday at the titans game but i was there and noticed almost everytime that bell went into the game he lined up right next to zach in seemingly a nickle package formation. i was just wondering if anyone else noticed this but usually on tv you don't really noticed that stuff.

Yes, Bell has been lining up at some sort of linebacker hybrid position on nickel and dime packages in a more pass rushing intensive role then most DB's.

He's also being used as a CB and Safety, and on special teams.

I noticed that too...he seems very versatile.

Bell has been playing everywhere this season, so I won't be suprised if he did take some LB snaps. Bell has really had a breakout season this year and I think that he really fits in to this defense that Saban created. Look for him to compete for a starting role next season and he should win it. This guy is a playmaker and we need to lock him up for a few years.

yea or just playing closer to the line to get in there on a safety blitz. I really doubt he is playing any type of hybrid position.

Agreed, TE, RB, FB, and based on where they line up its more of an optical allusion that he seems to take the role of a traditional LB simply by where he is positioned on the field, etc.

Not really hybrid, but you would see if the man he has was to go in motion he would follow....

Versatile, playmaking, a 'find'...not bad for a guy most pundits scoffed last offseason as "...Yerimiah, who??!"

:yeahthat: Totally agree. I have been thinking the same thing recently. He will definately be starting next season. The guy is a total playmaker.

Hey, what does Yeremiah Bell, Chris Chambers, and Ronnie Brown in common?

Answer: They like to give their critics a recipe for...
