saved a td on play forcing rb out of bounds. They didn't throw to his side of field once during the first qtr. had a nice tackle where he changed directions very quickly to get to the rb. No plays came to him, he got to the football. and he is very fast. to bad if he sits on the sideline this year, cause he'll start somewhere next year.

Ya... I was pretty impressed with him. Its hard to watch safteys on TV because the camera is always at the line of scrimmage, not in the secondary, but he looked quick and good in run support, and didnt give up any big plays...

I was about to make a thread about how well I thought he played. He showed the speed that we've been hearing about and had that nice safety blizt too. He sure didn't look lost at all out there.

Agreed. He seemed to be around the ball quite often. On the first drive he timed his blitz perfectly and helped cause the incompletion.

We'll be rotating our safeties quite a bit during the season which is a good thing. Our CBs are the bigger issue by far.
