ben patrick in the 3rd/4th round?

ben patrick is a great athelete, but i feel he is a little small for th TE position. he's a heavy WR in my book. the player i would love for us to target is scott chandler from iowa.

he's 6'7" , 270 lbs. and ran a 4.78 (4 inches taller, 20 lbs heavier and only 4 tenths of a second off of ben patrick's time)

he needs to learn some more blocking skills, but i'd sell my original castle greyskull and he-man collection to have chandler to throw to on third downs and in the red zone.

chandler is definitely on my wish list.

than you are a pretty smart fellow my man.

being from iowa, I watch this cat all the time. He finds ways to get open, midrange, short, downfield, it doesn't matter. He won't burn you downfield, but watching him he caught his fair share of longer passes. They may have not been designed plays but they happened. His hands are very good, probably his best attribute.
Blocking is decent but could definately be improved.

as for BP.... He has great hands as well. He can break some tackles too, the dude has strong legs it seems. But to me it seems he would be limited to short range plays. He's not known as much of a blocker, rush or pass.
He was one of very few bright spots on iowas team this year.
 
Patrick has great hands and makes great catches all the time. People have been high on him since his 2 all-star bowl game performances.

As you can see in the sig I'm a big fan.
 
No thanks on Patrick...Save the picks for way more pressing needs unfortunately.
