Just read he got released, would be a great pick up since Miller and Williams are the only ones producing, and Thomas losing touches to Williams. Id take Tate over Thomas any day, plus we would have him if we wanted him for next season. One less worry when you have 2 vets (Miller and Tate) on your roster at RB.

Have to wonder why he got released. He had some great games early on in the season. Coaches might've seen something concerning in his play after his injury. He hasn't rushed well since.

I would kick the tires. He had a few big games this year, I just think Cleveland doesn't give him enough reps to get going. They have two younger backs and are looking for more explosiveness. and then theres the John Benton connection.

There is a #Dolphins connection. OL coach John Benton was with the #Texans with RB Ben Tate, who is now available. #Interesting

If I'm #Dolphins GM Dennis Hickey, I at least make an exploratory phone call to RB Ben Tate and his reps in the next couple of days.

Why was he released? That's weird

They have been rotating Tate, Terrance West, and Isaiah Crowell & decided to go with the younger backs.

Ben Tate > Daniel Thomas...

At this point Damien Williams has shown way more potential than Daniel Thomas.

I don't think we will have any interest. Tate is a cancer who has bashed his coaches at his last 2 stops. He's also not that great.

if he isn't hurt , imo I think he would give us a change of pace from miller , tate is more of a pounding rb and miller is the faster smaller but explosive type , and the could compliment one another , we should atleast take a look .

Tate is just a Thomas 2.0

Big Body RB that plays small.

He would add nothing to this team we don't already have.

He got released because he was unhappy about his role, and not getting the touches he wanted. He wanted to be the full time starter, and he was in a 3 RB committee.
