The candidates:

Udonis Haslem: His defense on Dirk was inspiring. He also had a monster game in the deciding game.

Shaquille Oneal: He made everything possible offensively by drawing double teams throughout.

James Posey: He also did a great job on Dirk, and what went unnoticed is that he shut down Howard in the 4th quarter in 3 games. he also hit some big three's and the biggest shot of the season in game 6.

Jason Williams: He ran the offense...he limited turnovers. He also hit some timely shots in Game 3 and 5.

Antoine Walker: The second leading scorer for the Heat in the series. His big 3rd quarter in Game 6 might have been the last nail in the Mavs coffin.

Gary Payton: He hit two huge shots in the series and Terry had his problems in two of the heat wins whikle taking alot of shots in the 4th...the guy guarding him? Gary Payton. His efficiency in running the offense also shined through.

Alonzo Mourning: How do you dominate a game while only playing 14 minutes? Watch the tape of Game 6. It is also noteworthy that the heat always went on a run with their defensive unit of ZO, Haslem, Posey, Wade and Payton.

Udonis was a warrior out there as banged up as he was for the whole series he definetly gets my vote. Zo only played four minutes in game 5 but he showed up big time in game 6.

I'm probably way off here, but I vote for Posey. He hustled for every rebound, made good shots and drew alot of offensive fouls on the Mavs.
