I am happy with that. I don't know really why, but I'am sure this guy could be our next great slot receiver with his hand of glue.

lol i didn't really here about people putting Bess down. In fact i heard a lot of what i thought was over-hyping Bess. I liked the kid in Hawaii and like him now. Go Bess and more importantly, Go Phins!
 
I dont think there was a lot of people bashing, i hate when people make generalizations for the rest of us, most of us have been rooting for him and then when we saw him play i feel that all of us where on board.
 
nobody said anything about bashing - but they was getting on us about when he was raved about. Most thought we were crazy and that he was camp fodder. Some was even upset on the Bess thread and it lasting so long.

Just a little fun here. I find it humerous that you "hate when people make generalizations" then you go on to make two generalizations: "most of us have been rooting for him" and "all of us were on board."

Not bashing you or anything. It just goes to show how easy it is to do.
 
Underdog? Bess was a favorite to win the No. 5 job in my opinion. He was always the best UDFA receiver we had.

mine are accurate generalizations. i'am tryin to give our fanbase some credit,not discredit them by saying there were a lot of people who couldnt realise he would make the team after watching him play, cause there wasnt, lets not pretend that there was.....we need to change the identity around here.
 
Romio - I am happy for you as you definitely put your heart on the line for this guy. This is a good step to proving you right. I am sure there isn't a single person here, even the few folks who were convinced a couple of weeks ago that he was definitely getting cut, that would like to see your hope misplaced.

Good for Bess. I hope he proves to be a damn good slot guy and punt return man (when Ginn needs a breather).
 
i give a lot of folks on here props for being able to recognize talent in spite of it coming from an undrafted free agent. How far will Bess go? No idea, but so far he hasn't disappointed! Many peeps on this site have been behind him since day one.
 
I always loved this guy, i was in Hawaii and all he did was catch balls. This guy is a beast, I hope it works out..
