I was recently asked who I thought the best 5 Dolphins players ever were. I thought it would be an interesting subject to write an article about.

Check out my article/list: Best 5 Dolphins Ever

Here's an excerpt:
It's always fun to answer questions like this because a large part any individual's response will be determined by how old they are, and which teams they were able to watch in person from a young age.

As for myself, I wasn't around to see the Dolphins dynastic years during the early 1970s, but as a true fan, I've made sure to research those teams and their players to get a feel for the history of the franchise. Nothing compares to watching and following players week in and week out, seeing both their best performances and their forgettable ones. As a result, some people may consider a selection or two of mine debatable, claiming that I am leaning too far towards the present and eschewing the glorious past. But that's the greatness of a list like this. It depends so much on what a person looks for in a sports icon.

Please take a moment to check out the article, and let me know what you think of my list. And I'm also curious as to what your lists would look like. Remember, it's not a list of your favorite Dolphins, but the 5 best Dolphins ever.

Let me guess? because Marino is not number one? If that's the reason my answer is whatever. Marino is not my favorite but he's good enough to make top 5...

There is no way you can find many better alltime Dolphins than the ones listed.

Except for Yatil who was put in as a joke.

Yes, I would replace Yatil with Jabaar.

Greise gets way too much credit. The majority of the perfect season was qb'ed by Morrall. I've always felt that the world has taken a big fat dump on Morrall for the lack of credit he gets for that season.

Marino should be above any Dolphin quarterback on this list.

I would say 1. Larry Czonka 2. Dwight Stephenson 3.toss up between A.J. Duhe and John Offerdahl 4.Jason Taylor 5. of the q.b.'s Marino hand's down and I have seen them since the Morral day's. 6.Patric Surtain or Don McNeal 7.best safty tandeem Blackwood brother's or Jarvis Willam's and Loius Oliver 8.Bob Baumhauer 9.Larry Little 10.For the could have been Ricky Willam's

5. Mark Clayton-Best Dolphin Reciever

I am a Ricky fan and I know he's the leading rusher for single season ect but because Zonk led Miami to a SB title I included him over Ricky.
