Best All Around Back on OUR team (poll)

Between Ricky and Ronnie, who is the better RUNNING BACK?

I say Williams easily right now. He would have started ahead of both Ronnie and CArnell at Auburn. ANd Ricky's ability to make things happen, his vision, his quickness, his burst and power - not to metion ABOVE average hands -as atested by averaging about 50 catches per season. Quite honestly, Ronnie couldn't have a better practice/game mentor.

LT

On our team..Ricky...

Ronnie's career numbers are not impresive at all...0 games 0 yards 0 td's 0 carries and 0 catches...that's about as many doughnuts as Andy Reid eats for breakfast.

See, I'm with you. I don't understand how someone can vote for anyone who has NEVER played an NFL game. Not only that but letting anger at RW effect their decision. The question is WHO is the BETTER all around RB...never mind what RICKY did. ANd keep in mind that Ronnie has done NOTHING. But look at the votes. Talk about a BANDWAGON!!! Unreal

this really isn't fair... Ronnie hasn't even played at the pro level yet, so we do not know what he's capable of. Ricky has already proved himself.

That said, Ricky was a workload RB in college that set numerous records... and while ronnie had to split time instead of getting a feature back role, he still did not even put up half Ricky's stats.

Ricky is one of those rare NFL talents, that if he kept his mind on the game, could have set numerous rushing records at the end of his career.

Ronnie may be good, but i don't think he has the instincts that Ricky does. that said, Ronnie could make up for that in other areas, like blocking and receiving.

We will no about week 10. Ronnie want be great the first few weeks and Ricky want get rolling for a few weeks, so by week 8 we will all know what we'll get for Ricky (I think a 2nd round pick) and what kinda back we have in Ronnie (I think a solid one).

I thought you were asking for best all around back in the NFL...my vote would go to LT.

That is really the purpose of this thread: To see how many people will actually vote for Ronnie and forget the fact that he has yet to play a down in the NFL.

LT is the best back in the league.

for our team, its ricky cause ronnie hasn't done anything in the nfl yet. ronnie may or may not be better than him. only time will tell.

Yeah, he has a lot of potential...but as of now, Ricky's skills and he knowledge of the NFL in general, gives him a big advantage. Not to mention, RW is a freak of nature anyway.

Well said. If Ricky had not been run into the ground 2 years in a row, there's no telling where he could have gone in his career. Imagine Ricky playing behind the same o-line Emmitt did in Dallas. He has the pure talent to rush for 20,000 yards behind a line like that. And I don't mean that as a knock on Emmitt.

I wish we had Ladainian Tomlinson :( *shrugs* Oh well, Ronnie will be up there with him before long!

I do feel that RW is more talented than any runner at the top of the rushing charts. As a pure runner I do not believe there is one in the league that can rival Ricky at his best. All around LT is a better receiver, not a better hammer it in there to get the tough yards guy. I believe Ricky is a better blocker and breaks more tackles than LT. LT has hands and speed over Ricky. That is it. LT is #1 now. Portis is a LT type on a worse team. Preist is right there when he is healthy.

Ricky could have assulted the record books if he had not came across Wanny. Hey, let's hope he makes a run at them anyway. Good for the Fins' if he does.
